The SEEDS Team since combining their strengths together in 2010 have written these successful grants:

  • Regal Cinema $141,500 - Community Builders Grants
  • Scone Race Course - $60,000 - Hunter Advantage Funds

The team and their funding partners are currently awaiting outcomes of 4 x Community Builder Funds totally over $1 mill over 3 years, I&I NSW funding over $200,000 over 1 year....

$13,000 Living in Harmony Funding to produce a short film targeting young people in the suburb to build on cultural harmony including the staging of a Festival on Harmony Day 2006

$250,000 (includes inkind support) working with the Cultural Industries Practices Centre - Newcastle University - Case Study of Cultural Planning in an Australian City (PhD student working in Mayfield for three years)

$10,000 Growing The Junction - NSW Premiers funding, educate local businesses in regards to disaster preparation and recovery.

$100,000 Tourism Development funding for a Bushfoods Café

$62,000 for hydrological management planning and implementation

$30,000 for weed management and educational seminars

$5,000 environmental educational tours

$70,000 for educational website

$8,000 for National Eco-Tourism Brochure

$10,000 Administration funding for Community Volunteer Organisation(s)

$161,000 Ramsar Management Planning Program funding to restore a wetting and drying cycle to local wetlands

$30,000 I&I "Developing Regional Resources" program for development of an Eco-Cultural trail including industry development, market research and development of collatoral.

$20,000 from DSRD for a Marketing Plan to create a vision for Mayfield for 5 years to develop a sustainable retail environment that is sympathetic to the communities needs.

$20,000 for second round funding for coordination in Cessnock through the Mainstreet Funding program.

$20,000 - from DSRD and Premiers for the Cessnock CBD Revitalise program to create an identity to attract new business and consumers to Cessnock CBD.

$20,000 - from DSRD to implement the second stage of the Mayfield Marketing Plan.

 $12,000 - from DSRD for the New Lambton Village - Festival and Marketing program

$21550 - Wallsend Embracing the Future - funding to assist the Wallsend Town Retail Precinct to brand, market and revitalise its image and retail product mix.

$25,000 - Wallsend Disaster Recovery Funding - to provide a coordinator for 6 months to assist the business and community to develop tools to assist in disaster planning, evacuation and improve links to groups and the community in preparation should a disaster such as this happen again.

$5000 DSRD - Wallsend We Love It Campaign to assist with the recovery of Wallsend Town after the disaster.

$12,000 Growing the Junction - DSRD funding for planning and marketing The Junction Business District.

$12,000 DSRD - Business Development Funds - Implementation of a Strategic Plan, Business Plan and Action Plan to establish the Hunter Biotech Cluster.
