Our fee schedule is designed to reduce the financial risk to our clients. Each grant is different and our fees will be determined on a case by case basis, however as a basic rule our fees include: 5% - 10% of the grant claim upon commencement of contract, and up to 5% of the successful grant (a fee for success). We only take on grant applications that we believe have a high success rate. Our fee structure ensures we share the risk of application success with our clients.
What we will do:
We will spend time getting to know the project and funding application, researching the requirements of the funding body, contacting the funding body (or its representative) to discuss the project, developing the submission, and providing a list of all submission attachments required (such as plans, letters of support, market research).
Although all submissions are different, the grant submission process usually consists of the following stages:
Grant Matching Service - fee for service
- Initial meeting to discuss the project and assess broadly the potential to attract grant funds;
- The client forwards all relevant literature about the company and the project
- We undertake a comprehensive review of all grants available and advise on the most appropriate for each particular project;
Grant Writing Service - fee for service
- A second meeting is held (either in person or via telephone), to obtain any further information to select a grant program and finalise a draft application;
- A final draft for review is forwarded for approval;
- A final application is developed, information attached and submission lodged.
Other services:
SEEDS are also available to do any or all of the following to assist with the submission or implementation of the successful grant:
Reports required by the funding body upon or following application, including:
-
Feasibility studies; marketing plans, business plans;
-
Milestone reporting and final report/acquittal;
-
Full project management.
Most grants are designed to fund a specific component of a project lifecycle such as Inception (feasibility, planning, design), Implementation (capital works, signage, services, systems), or Enhancement of existing structures, services or systems. SEEDS can assist with identification of grants to fit any of these stages.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information or if you would like to pursue a grant submission.
